Permits
Montgomery dumpster permit rules
Dumpster on the street in Montgomery, AL Not yet confirmed
We haven't been able to confirm Montgomery's dumpster permit rules from an official city source yet, so we don't show a fee. Most cities require a permit for any dumpster on the street, sidewalk or in a parking lane, and none for a dumpster in your own driveway. Call the city's public works or transportation department before you book, or ask your hauler — many handle the permit for you.
Checked October 2026. City rules change — confirm with the issuing office before placing a dumpster. This is general information, not legal advice.
